  • After playing in the hot sun for a long time, you realize you forgot to bring your water bottle to the beach. You start feeling hot and thirsty.
    What size problem is this?
  • You're digging a huge hole when you throw a shovel full of sand behind you. Some of the sand lands on another family's beach towels and snacks.
    How do they feel? What can you do?
  • You notice someone tossing chips to the seagulls even though there is a sign asking visitors not to feed the birds. Soon, many seagulls gather around people trying to eat lunch.
    What's the problem?
  • Your family arrives at the beach, and after setting everything up, you realize you forgot to put on sunscreen. You already want to run into the water, but your parent says you need sunscreen first.
    What should you do?
  • Your friend wants to swim in the ocean, but they're nervous to go out deep because the waves look bigger than they expected. You love to swim out deep.

  • While playing beach volleyball, you accidentally sit on your sunglasses and they snap in half. Now the sun feels really bright.

  • You finally sit down to eat your lunch. As soon as you unwrap your sandwich, a seagull swoops down and grabs part of it before flying away.

  • You spent almost an hour building a giant sandcastle with towers and a moat. Another child is running by and accidentally steps on one of the towers, knocking it over. They put their hands to their cheeks and open their mouth and eyes wide.

  • You jump over a big wave, and water splashes onto another family's blanket. Their towels and books get wet, and they don't look very happy.

  • You bend down to pick up a beautiful shell at the same moment another child reaches for it. Both of you think you found it first.
