  • A long animal without legs. Some are poisonous. They can live in trees, on the ground, or in water.

  • A very smart grey bird that can copy human speech. It lives in forests and is sometimes kept as a pet.

  • A monkey with a dog-like face. It has strong arms, lives in troops, and is loud and active.
    Baboon
  • It looks like a horse but has black and white stripes. Each one has a different stripe pattern.
    Zebra
  • This wild cat is covered in dark spots, can climb trees, and is very quiet when it hunts.
    Leopard
  • A small insect that lives in groups. Some bite, others collect food or build big homes underground.

  • A big, strong animal with curved horns. It can be aggressive and lives in large groups.

  • This big cat is strong, has a golden mane (if male), and lives in groups called prides. It's called the king of the jungle.

  • The biggest primate. It’s very strong and lives in forests. It walks on its knuckles and is intelligent.

  • A tiny flying insect that bites people and animals. It can be annoying and may carry diseases.

  • A tall bird with pink feathers and long legs. It stands on one leg and eats small things from the water.

  • A night bird with big eyes. It can turn its head almost all the way around and is very quiet when flying.
