  • What Would You Do? Someone on your team wasn’t helping with a group task.
➤ I would check in with them and say something like, “Hey, do you want to help with this part?” Maybe they’re not sure what to do.

  • What Would You Do? You had an idea but your teammates weren’t listening.
I would wait for a pause and then say, “Can I share my idea?” or write it down to show them.

  • What Would You Do? Two people on your team started arguing.
➤ I would stay calm and maybe say, “Let’s take a break,” or “Let’s all listen to each other one at a time.”

  • What Would You Do? Your teammate made a mistake and blamed you.
I’d say, “I don’t think I did that, but let’s figure it out together.” I would try to stay calm and not yell.

  • What Would You Do? Your teammate was really shy and didn’t talk much.
I’d ask them a small question like, “What do you think?” or give them a chance to help in a quiet way.

  • What Would You Do? Your group finished early, but one teammate still needed help.
➤ I’d ask, “Do you want help?” or “What part are you working on?” It’s good to support the whole team.

  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? One person took over the team task.
➤ The problem is that not everyone gets a chance. A better way is to share jobs or take turns.

  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? Someone is on their phone the whole time.
➤ The problem is they’re not paying attention. I could say, “We need your help on this part,” or ask if they need a break.

  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? Everyone wants to be the leader, and no one is listening.
➤ The problem is too much talking and not enough listening. We could vote on a leader or make a list of everyone’s jobs.
  •  15
  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? You disagree with your team but they won’t listen.
The problem is they’re not open to new ideas. I could say, “Can I explain my idea, and then we can decide together?”

  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? One person does all the work while others watch.
➤ That’s not fair. We could make a plan and divide the work so everyone gets a job.

  • 🔍 What’s the Problem? Someone always says “no” to others’ ideas.
➤ The problem is they’re not being a good teammate. A better way is to say, “Let’s try it your way first, then mine.”

  • 🎭 Role Play: You’re in a team of 4 people putting together a puzzle. One person is just sitting there and hasn’t helped at all. The rest of the team is starting to get frustrated.
➤ “Hey, I’m almost done with this part, but I could use a hand. Can you help me with the last step?”

  • 🎭 Role Play: You’re working with a teammate who keeps making mistakes in a shared task. The group is falling behind.
“Hey, I noticed there have been a few mix-ups. Do you want to go over the steps together? Maybe we can figure it out as a team.”

  • 🎭 Role Play: You’re planning a team outing. Everyone has different ideas and they’re starting to talk over each other.
🗣️ “Let’s each take turns sharing one idea, then we’ll vote. That way everyone gets a chance and we can decide together.”

  • 🎭 Role Play: You feel really overwhelmed and overstimulated while your team is working in a noisy room.
🗣️ “I’m feeling a little overloaded right now. Is it okay if I take a 5-minute break and then come back and help?”
