When someone admits, in court, to having committed a crime

The action of allowing a criminal to avoid jail on the condition that they abide by the law

Someone who has commits a crime after serving their sentence for a previous crime.

When a judge orders for someone to be incarcerated for a specific amount of time they hand out

A sentence which is different to one normally given for a particular crime

When someone is responsible for a crime e.g. vandalism

Someone who directly suffers the effects of a crime e.g. someone who was robbed

Being under supervision with the expectation of behaving well (instead of going to prison)

A sentence of working without payment to help other people

Money you have to pay for driving too fast.

If someone has been arrested with no 'priors' (a record of previously committed crimes), their crime is a
