Always view your specimen using the highest magnification lens first.

After using a microscope, pack your things and leave everything untouched inside the laboratory

Use your fingers to clean the lens

Do not force knobs

Place the microscope directly in below of you on the laboratory table

Slowly turn the coarse adjustment so that the objective lens goes up

When you have finished observations using the microscope, lower the stage, gently remove the specimen from the stage clips, lower the light intensity to its lowest setting, and switch off the power

Place the microscope slide on the stage and fasten it with the stage clips.

Always carry your microscope with 2 hands
