מִקֵּ֖ץ אַרְבָּעִ֥ים יֽוֹם
at the end of 40 days
עַ֚ל אֹד֣וֹת הָֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל
because of the cluster
וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ עַד־נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכֹּ֗ל
and they came to the valley of eshkol
שֶׁיָּגֵן עֲלֵיהֶם בִּזְכוּתוֹ
That will protect on them in his merit
וּמִן־הָרִמֹּנִ֖ים
and from the pomegranates
מִמִּדְבַּר־צִ֥ן
from the desert of tzin
וְחֶבְר֗וֹן שֶׁ֤בַע שָׁנִים֙ נִבְנְתָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י צֹ֥עַן מִצְרָֽיִם
and chevron was built 7 years before tzon of mitzrayim

וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּ
and they went up
וּמִן־הַתְּאֵנִֽים
and from the figs
וַיַּעֲל֣וּ בַנֶּ֘גֶב֮
and they up in the south
יְלִידֵ֖י הָעֲנָ֑ק
the children of giants
שֶׁר־כָּרְת֥וּ מִשָּׁ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
that Bnei Yisroel cut from there
וַיִּשָּׂאֻ֥הוּ בַמּ֖וֹט בִּשְׁנָ֑יִם
and they carried it on a stick by two
וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ מִתּ֣וּר הָאָ֑רֶץ
and they returned from spying the land
וַיָּתֻ֣רוּ
and they spied
כָּלֵב לְבַדּוֹ הָלַךְ שָׁם
kalev by himself went there
זְמוֹרָה֙ וְאֶשְׁכּ֤וֹל עֲנָבִים֙ אֶחָ֔ד
a branch with one cluster of grapes
וַיִּכְרְת֨וּ מִשָּׁ֤ם
and they cut form there
וְשָׁ֤ם אֲחִימַן֙ שֵׁשַׁ֣י וְתַלְמַ֔י
and there was achiman, shishi, and talmi
אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ
the land
וַיָּבֹ֣א עַד־חֶבְרוֹן֒
and he came to chevron
לַמָּק֣וֹם הַה֔וּא קָרָ֖א נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכּ֑וֹל
they called that place the valley of eshkol
