Last weekend was ruined by bad weather.
Last weekend was a washout.
How was your day?
How's your day been/ How's your day going?
Nice to meet you
Great to see you/ Good to see you
I need to go to sleep
I need to catch some zs
What do you do?
What do you do for a living?
How are you?
what's up? how are you doing?
I'm sick
I'm feeling under the weather.
It helps me to relax
It helps me to unwind
it has both advantages and disadvantages.
It's a double-edged sword.
What a coincidence!
What are the odds?
I have some tasks to complete.
I've got a few errands to run.
Do you still like...?
Are you still into....?
Let's chat
Let's shoot the breeze
I hope so.
Fingers crossed.
