Expected and Unexpected Behaviors

  • You call out to students and teachers out on the sidewalk when they walk by the classroom.
    Tell them later on, or don't tell them at all.
    knock on the glass and wave but don't say anything.

  • You lose a game so you yell at the others and call them cheaters.

    See if there is a different pencil you can use, in the bin.
  • What's the wrong answer: You are not doing well during a game and you are feeling like you're not having any fun.
    You let your teacher know this isn't your favorite game
    You exclaim loudly " This game stinks!" and quit.
    You ask if you can leave after a few turns--you tried.
    You ask for help, maybe there is some rule you forgot.
  • You are feeling frustrated, so you ask your teacher if you can take a break to calm down.

  • You make a comment about their body or clothes that is unkind.
    Unexpected, unless you know the person really well and are friends with them. 
  • When somebody talks to you, you are looking at them.
