Another car coming towards them too quickly on a narrow road, and the soft ground at the edge of the road.

His positive attitude has helped him to overcome difficulties, illnesses and obstacles he has encountered.

What did he learn from his trial trip to Africa?

He learnt that the journey wasn't possible with his current wife (they split up) and that he needed more storage space and a comfortable bed.
