Spring clues

I hatch from an egg -- I'm a fuzzy little bird -- I hop around the nest -- saying "cheep" instead of words

I'm carefully woven -- and I'm seen during spring -- for holding colorful eggs -- or many other things

In the spring you might need me -- when the grass grows tall -- you can push me and I'll cut it -- I'm useful after all

I am pretty and colorful -- I grow from the ground -- I can be planted in your garden -- or in a vase or pot I can be found

I live outside and gather nuts -- I don't have much to say -- but I have a bushy tail -- and in springtime I will play

I'm furry and cute -- I have long ears and big feet -- I don't make much noise -- but may hop and cuddle if we meet

I'm made of sticks or twigs -- and sometimes other things -- I'm a cozy little home -- for little birds with wings

I grow from the ground -- I'm soft and I'm green -- people may say "what a pretty lawn" -- in the yard where I am seen

I'm handy to have on a rainy spring day -- hold my handle and I'll protect you -- nice and dry you will stay

I'm made of many colors -- I'm up in the sky -- I'm an arch up above -- when its damp out, not dry
