  • Do you have extra time to transfer answers onto the answer sheet?
    ONLY for the Listening paper (6 minutes B1 || 5 minutes B2 to C2). For the other papers you MUST organize yourself within the test time.
  • Can you eat during the exam?
    NO. But you can eat during breaks. (bring some snacks with you or buy a snack next door)

    YES. Just make sure you TRANSFER the answers correctly into the answer sheet

    NO. You can write in CAPITALS or lower case, or if your writing is joined up or not. Just make sure it's clear.

    ERASE. You do these answer sheets in PENCIL
  • Should you be sad if the examiner interrupts you in the speaking?
    NO. This shows that you have spoken enough. Part of the examiner’s job is to control the time
  • Can you ask the examiner to repeat a question in the speaking paper?
    YES. Ask the examiner to repeat the question or instructions if you didn’t understand.
  • Can you have water during the test?
    YES. Bring a clear plastic bottle of water.
  • What time is the test?
    Check the timetable that will be sent to your email (the one you used to enrol)
  • What MUST you bring on the exam day?
    Pen (black/blue), pencil, eraser. Original document (ID card) and the timetable printed on paper
  • Do I need to pass all four papers?
    NO. It’s possible to pass the exam if you do well in some papers but not in every paper.
  • Will you get extra paper to prepare and plan your writing?
    YES. . Your test centre will provide paper for planning, making notes, etc
  • What should I do if I make a mistake in the writing?
    You can edit your work. If you change anything, make sure that your writing is easy to read.
  • In the speaking, do you fail if you make mistakes?
    Don’t worry if you think you’ve made a mistake. The important thing is that you communicate with your partner and with the examiner.
  • Your exam centre will take your photo. True or false?
    True. This photo is for immigration / visa / studying abroad purposes.
  • In the Reading and Use of English paper and the Listening paper, what do you use to complete the answer sheet?

    NO
  • In the writing paper, what do you use to write?
    a PEN - black or blue.
  • In the writing paper, do you have specific pages to write part 1 and part 2?
    YES! Look for the correct page before you start writing
  • What time should you arrive to do the test?
    30 minutes before the test time - This allows for the test to start on time.
  • In the Writing paper can you do the tasks in any order?
    YES. Just make sure you WRITE the answers on the correct part of the answer sheet / booklet.
