Ben looked at his shoes. “They’re dirty,” he said. “You played football again,” said Lucy, laughing. “Let’s clean them,” said Ryan. “I’ll get some water,” said Emma. Who said, “You played football again.”

The lights went out. “It’s dark!” cried Nora. “Don’t be scared,” said Tom, holding a flashlight. “I can’t see anything,” said Mia. “The light is coming back,” said Ben. Who said, “Don’t be scared.”

Mia dropped her crayons on the floor. “Oh no!” she said. “I’ll help you,” said Jack, kneeling down. “Thanks, Jack,” said Mia. “You’re welcome,” said Zoe with a smile. Who said, “I’ll help you”?

The children built a sandcastle by the sea. “Let’s make a tall tower,” said Ava. “I’ll get more sand,” said Liam. “I’ll find shells,” said Emma. “Don’t break it!” said Noah. Who said, “I’ll find shells.”
