  • Some liquids move slowly, like
    honey or ketchup.
  • Gases don’t have their own
    shape either.
  • The air we breathe is
    made of gases.
  • You can measure liquids with a
    measuring cup to see how much space they take up.
  • 💨 What is a gas?
    A gas is also a kind of matter — like air!
  • They spread out and fill all the space in
    a room, a balloon, or any container.
  • Even though you don’t see it,
    air helps things like a ribbon float or fly!
  • It can feel
    cold or hot.
  • Some move quickly, like
    milk or oil.
  • It can
    move, like the wind.
  • 🧃 What is a liquid?
    A liquid is something that you can pour, like water, milk, or juice.
  • Liquids don’t have their own shape —
    they take the shape of the cup or bottle they are in.
  • You can’t see air, but
    you can feel it.
