  • You made $20 babysitting last night, so you’re going to the movies with your friends. When you go to pay for your ticket, you can’t find your money.
  • You were almost done typing up a five-page essay when your computer broke down. You can’t get it to turn back on, and you worked on your essay for hours. You are feeling frustrated.
  • You dropped your phone on the sidewalk, and the screen cracked. You know you don’t have enough money to have it fixed.
  • Your brother broke your video game. You feel really angry because you weren’t home when he used it, and he didn’t ask you first if he could play it.
  • Your friend beat you in a video game, and now he won’t stop bragging about it. He keeps saying he is so much better than you, and it is making you feel really upset.
  • You’re taking a math test and can’t figure out how to answer the question. You know you learned about this in class, but you can’t remember how to solve it. You feel very frustrated.
  • You were assigned a science project to work on with partners, and your best friend picked someone else to work with instead of you. Your feelings are really hurt.
  • Your friend borrowed your sweatshirt, and he said he’d bring it to school today to give it back to you. When you ask him for it, he says he forgot. You feel really angry because you wanted to wear it tonight.
