Let’s think about special events. What sort of special events are organized/arranged  in the city where you live?

How could we remind/remember people of the real reasons behind public holidays?

Do schools teach children about the reasons for [particular/in particular] celebrations in your country?

Are there fewer people celebrating this festival now because it remains/refers to the past?

Do you think that local councils should fund/pay special events for the community?

What is it that makes/gets  a big public event successful?
