Halloween inferences

I shine in the night sky and sparkle a bit. I am pretty to look at and I am always lit. I'm not a circle or square but I am a shape you see, do you think you might know me?

Kids like to eat me all year around. On Halloween they get bags filled with me, from the people in town. I have colorful wrappers that make me look yummy. I taste very sweet in your tummy.

I can be your pet, but some people don't like me. They think I'm bad luck and I'm not don't you see. I just purr and scratch and I'm as lovable as can be.

I shine up in the sky all glowing bright. Sometimes I am full on Halloween night. I move about and light the way for you. I am shaped like a circle and a finger nail too.

I live in an old broken down house. The only thing that lives there with me is a mouse. I float through the air in a sheet made of white. I give people an awful fright.

My eyes glow in the dark night. My face can be scary, happy, or bright. I need a candle or light inside for all to see. Do you know what I might be?

Most people do not like me. I make messes in houses you see. I eat lots of bugs to help you out. I have 8 legs without a doubt. I am black, hairy, and creepy too. Did you guess me with these clues?

I am with you on trick-or-treat night. I help hold your candy, all the favorites you like. You fill me with goodies clear up to the top. Sometimes I get so full I feel I might pop.

On Halloween night I go house to house I might be dressed up as a pirate or mouse. When an adult comes to the door or out on the street, I say to them "trick or treat!" Who am I?

I like to live in a very dark place. At night is the only time I like to show my face. I like to eat fruit, fish and lots of bugs. Most people don't give me any hugs. Sleeping upside down is where I can be found.

I wear my hat all day and out in the field I stay. I try my best to scare away the crows but sometimes I fall down when the wind blows.

I float through the sky on windy days. I am very colorful in many ways. People rake me up and jump in piles. I create a fall scene that is a beautiful surprise

I am kind of clear, but shine with the dew. I catch bugs for arachnids, maybe just a few. I have sticky parts and some parts are not. Spiders like me and they like me a lot.

I fly through the night. I can't see too well. I have a magic wand, I use for my spell. I have a black cat named Midnight, don't you see. I wonder if you could figure out me.

I am old and broken down with lots of cobwebs. I might even have a broken down bed. My windows are cracked and my sidewalk is old. I am a place no one wants to go.

I grow in the dirt I have leaves and a stem. Some people pick me and give me a friend. I have lots of different colors and faces. Friends like to put me in pretty, glass vases.

You wear me on Halloween as you go house to house. I might be a witch, or a monster, or mouse. I come in so many choices to choose. I cover your body from your head to your shoes.
