" I phoned you yesterday", she claimed.
She claimed that she had phoned you the day before.
"Why were the empty bottles on the carpet?", my parents wanted to know.
My parents wanted to knoy why the empty bottles were on the carpet.
"Here I go again", Peter said.
Peter said there he went again.
Mr. Sandman said to his son, " Post these letters" ( tell)
Mr Sandman told his son to port those letters.
Sam said to his friend, " Let´s meet here in an hour" ( suggest)
Sam suggested meeting there in an hour / that they meet there in an hour.
" I have been sleeping with my best friend", he admitted.
He admitted that he had been sleeping with his best friend.
" How did you break this window?", the police wanted to know.
The police wanted to know how I had broken that window.
