  • Try to hit/kick the ball with your racket.
    HIT (to kick is to hit sth with your foot)
  • We SCORED/ LET IN a goal in the last minute and lost.
    LET In (you didn't defend your goal net well enough to keep it out.)
  • Kirsten keeps on winning/beating me at the table tennis.
    Beating (someone means doing better than them. You can win a game, a competition, but you can't use win with a person)
  • Model making is a marvellous hobby/sport. I helps me pass/spend the time.
    HOBBY/ PASS (to pass (v) the time means to fill spare time with an activity.
