Types of Warrants

  • Issued by the Idaho Commission of Pardons and Parole. Takes the place of an Agent's Warrant.
    Board Warrant
  • Warrant issued after a Grand Jury has decided there is enough evidence to charge an individual
    Grand Jury Indictment
  • Issued to secure the attendance of an important witness for a trial
    Material Witness Warrant
  • Court order directing authorities to bring forth the individual to see their charges. Usually issued when someone does not pay court-ordered fines or complete a court-ordered class.
    Warrant of Attachment
  • Issued by a judge when a defendant violates the rules of the court
    Bench Warrant
  • Issued when a subject refuses to sign an extradition waiver after being arrested in another state
    Governor's Warrant
  • Issued when a subject violates the conditions of their probation/parole. Serves as an immediate way to arrest a subject.
    Agent's Warrant
  • A warrant issued by Civil Court
    Civil Warrant
  • Officers show probable cause that a crime has been committed. The Prosecutor's Office issues the warrant and a judge signs off on it.
