'A cuppa' - I'm thirsty, I'm going to make a cuppa.

'Fiver' - Can you lend me a fiver to buy a drink?

'To have a gander' - A: Have you seen my phone? B: No, I'll have a gander.

'Proper' - That new Indian restaurant is proper good.

'Gutted' - I was gutted with the result, I can't believe we lost.

'Skint' - I can't go out tonight, I'm skint.

'Bloke' - I know David, he's a really nice bloke.

'Chuffed' - Tina was chuffed with her grade in the English exam.

'to leg it' - We saw the teacher coming so we legged it, we didn't want to get in trouble!

'Cheers' - A: I'll buy you lunch. B: Cheers!
