My boyfriend promised to call me this afternoon but he didn’t!

My friend texted me saying he/she is on his/her way to see me, but I didn’t think we were meeting today!

I want some new clothes, but I don’t have any money

I’m at the airport, ready to catch my flight, but I can’t find my passport.

I have a test tomorrow, but I need help with it. I’m texting my classmate, but he/ she’s not replying.

I think my heart has stopped beating! I tried to feel my pulse this afternoon but I couldn’t feel a thing.

My friend asked me to print his/her homework because his/her printer’s out of ink. I read the essay and fixed some mistakes

I have an exam tomorrow, but I want to go to a friend’s birthday party tonight.

When I came home from the pub last night, I put the key in my front door but it wouldn’t fit. I tried three times and in the end I had to sleep in the car.

It was my best friend’s birthday, but I didn’t call him/her.

I’m worried about my grandmother. She never goes out but when I called her this afternoon, no one answered.
