Who is Aisha ?

  • She was his youngest wife, the only virgin woman he married and the most beloved to him.
  • Amr ibn al-‘As asked: “O Messenger of Allah, who is the most beloved to you?” He replied: "Aisha.“ He asked: “And among the men?” He said: "Her father.”
  • "Revelation never came to me while I was under the blanket of any woman except Aisha.”
  • Her father is Abu Bakr al-Siddiq
    was the Prophet’s closest companion and the first man to embrace Islam
  • Aisha (RA) did not bear any children, her kunyah was Umm Abdullah
    I was given the kunyah ‘Umm ‘Abdullah’ because of my nephew, Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr.”
