FR16 Unit 3

Sorry, I can't stop to talk right now, it's starting to get dark. I need to go to work; otherwise, no one will see a thing all night.

"The first thing I did today was to fix the newest game I had made. Fortunately, it was only something simple! Then, I spent my afternoon working on a great new idea that will really help people learn languages on the go."

People aren't always pleased to see me, but I think they are grateful. This morning, I woke up at 3 a.m. and walked up and down the streets as usual, making sure that everyone was awake in time for work.

"I woke up and replied to over one hundred messages from my followers, then I grabbed breakfast at the newest place in town and tagged them in my post. My afternoon was filled with editing my latest vlog."

"I had a meeting today with a big company who were worried about how strong the protection was for their network and computer systems. I told them I would investigate and see if I could find any weaknesses."

I love going for long walks on my day off because I spend most of my working day in the dark. I won't complain, though. They say one day a machine will do my job, but it won't be as quick as me, so I'm not worried!

"My morning was filled with writing code for the latest version of the programme. Then I tested its responses with some difficult questions. It's learning so fast these days that I think it won't be long until it can program itself!"

"Following our second-place win last night in the tournament, I got the team together online and we went through how we could do things differently next time. I had them work on some new tactics, and they are playing a lot better!"

Everyone thinks they can do my job, but it's more challenging than you think! No one realizes how difficult it is to get the brightness and focus just right.

Monday was absolute chaos. The clock in my own home stopped working, so I was late to every single one of my appointments. Luckily, no one noticed because their clocks don't work without me!

I don't spend much money at all on grocery shopping because I eat loads at work! Of course, the downside is that I never really know if I'm going home after work...

I woke up to extremely loud noises and the boat rocking, so I knew I was already late for work! Luckily, I can move pretty quickly and got up on deck before anyone noticed I wasn't there.

This week I walked 2,000 steps until I reached the border and recorded the distance in my notebook. Then I walked another 15,000 steps to the next village. I'll have to walk it again, though, to check if I'm right...

I lost my voice! I must have shouted too loudly last week. I'll have lots to tell people about when I go back to work.

I get all the gossip! People think I'm too busy to listen to phone calls, and I am, really. But every now and then, I can't resist it!
