בָּרָא אֹתָם

He created them

וְכִבְשֻׁהָ

And conquer it

לְמִינָהּ

after its kind

בְּצַלְמֵנוּ

in our image

וּבְכָל הָאָרֶץ

and over all the earth

בְּצֶלֶם אֶלֹקִים

in the image of Hashem

בְּצַלְמוֹ

in His image

וּבְכָל הָאָרֶץ

and over all the earth

וּבַבְּהֵמָה

and over the cattle

בִדְגַת הַיָם

and over the fish of the sea

כִּדְמוּתֵנוּ

like our likeness

וְיִרְדּוּ

And they shall rule

זָכָר

male

וּמִלְאוּ

And fill

וּבְכָל הָרֶמֶשׂ

and over all the creeping thing

וְאֵת כָּל רֶמֶשֹ הָאַדָמָה

and every creeping thing of the ground

וְיִרְדּוּ

and they shall rule

פְּרוּ

Be fruitful

בָּרָא אֹתוֹ

He created him

אֶת חַיַּת הָאָרֶץ

and all the wild animals of the earth

נַעַשֶׂה אָדָם

let us make man

וּרְבוּ

And multiply

וּבְעוֹף הַשָׁמַיִם

and over the birds of the heaven
