W: People are richer, but there there are still other major conflicts in the world to fight.

SW1: The UN was formed to put a cork in all the violence.

SW2: This entity would help keep peace around the world.

SW2: It seems everyone's lives have improved

sw2: Basically, all world power rests in the hands of 5 major nations.

SW1: These countries have been in conflict for a long time including major wars.

SW2: Millions of lives were lost because of boarder disputes.

SW1: Thanks to veto powers, very little change can occur.

W: The UN has been both a triumph and a disappointment.

W: France and Germany are fairly similar countries that share a boarder.

W: War was affecting the world and needed to be stopped.
