Index
A picture taken with a camera to show what something looks like.
Photograph
A drawing that shows what something looks like.
A page in the beginning of the book that shows the reader the different section or chapter titles and where they are located.
Table of Contents
Text under or around a photo or illustration. It explain what is happening in the image or what the image is about.
Caption
Identifies the topic and tells us what the text is about.
Title
The title at the top of a page or section that helps the reader identify the main idea for that section.
Heading
More headings that come after the main heading to break the sections of text up even more. They help identify the main idea for that section.
