    Luxury Items are goods that have very high value.
  • What was the 'Silk Road'?
    A path/route traders went on to exchange various goods. It spanned from East Asia all the way to Europe.
  • What is the 'shogun' of Japan? What do they do?
    Shogun: Military Ruler of Japan who is mostly in charge of the whole country.
  • Chinese official banned opium in China. Explain why.
    Opium is an addictive drug, making people want more and more. It also slowed down the body, making people less active and productive.

    Invented Paper and Encourage Trading along the Silk Road
