  • Process
Steps needed to complete a task.
  • Sub-System
Smaller systems within a larger system, all of which work together to achieve a goal.
  • Feedback
Information about the output of a system used to close the loop from output to input.
  • Input
Elements that flow into the system and are consumed or processed in the system.
  • Closed-Loop
FEEDBACK- System can change under different conditions. IE: AC/Heat Thermostat.
  • Output
    The product of a system. Desired/Undesired, and/or Expected/Unexpected.
  • List the Inputs of a System

  • System
Is any group of interrelated parts designed collectively to achieve a desired goal.
  • Open-Loop
FEEDBACK- System has no way of adjusting to changing conditions. IE: Light Switch.
  • The Universal Systems Model
A set of related parts. When the parts are put together, they form a whole, designed to accomplish a goal.
