Animal farm chap. 7 and 8

Napoleon sees Snowball creeping into the farm at night and performing all kinds of mischief.

When the hens revolt, Napoleon decrees that any animal who gives food to them should be punished by death.

Napoleon calls on the animals to confess their crimes and when they do, they are executed.

After the windmill is destroyed, the animals feel less hopeful, all except Boxer and Clover.

After the Battle of the Cowshed, the pigs get drunk and the Commandment is changed to “No animal shall drink alcohol to excess.”

Clover does not understand why they have come to a time when no one dares speak his mind but he accepts Napoleon’s leadership.

The animals on Animal Farm resort to cannibalism and infanticide.

Beasts of England is abolished because it was Snowball’s song.

Napoleon sells the wood pile to Frederick, insisting that he pay in five-pound notes, which later turn out to be forgeries.

Boxer finally decides that if Napoleon says Snowball was in league with Mr. Jones, it must be true.
