Brad and Fred were at the dentist and could not grill with Kent. Kent began to rant.
“I want to yell and rant,” said Kent.
He said, “If I draft a pact with Mom, I will not go on a rant.”
The cast did not stop them from a tent trip.
His mom said, “If I can trust that you will stop the rant, we can plan a trip in a tent.”
Kent was glad for the pact with his mom.
The fact was that he could not swim.
“I wish I could swim, but my leg is in a cast,” said Kent.
Even the plant began to wilt from the sun.
The pact said that if he could have Brad and Fred over to grill, he would not go on a rant.
Kent felt he would melt from the hot sun.
