  • Air pollution: Harmful substances in the air, often consisting of waste from vehicles or industry
    Part of speech: noun. Cars pollute the air a lot :(
  • Solid waste: Any garbage or refuse, sludge from a sewage treatment plant, water supply treatment plant, or air pollution control facility, and other discarded materials.

  • Deforestation: The cutting down of trees in a large area, or the destruction of forests by people

  • Untreated sewage: Wastewater which contains harmful waterborne pathogens and bacteria and which has not yet gone through a sewage treatment plant.
