Melody is standing next to other kids at a parade. The firetrucks drives by and blares it's horn super loud. You and some peers cover your ears. How can you initiate a conversation?
"That's so loud" "I don't really like the firetruck," etc.
Mike is at recess and wants to play basketball. He notices there's a group of boys he doesn't know is playing.
I like playing basketball too! Can I join?
You get to lunch and see a long line. There's a girl in front of you that smiles. What can you say?
