What is a Natural Resource?
Natural resources are things that come from the Earth that we use every day.
Imagine them as nature’s gifts!
These can be things that are alive, like animals and plants, or nonliving, like rocks and water.
Here are some examples of natural resources:
🦓 Animals
– They give us wool, milk, and food.
🌳 Plants
– We eat fruits and vegetables, and trees give us wood.
🪨 Rocks
– Used to build houses, roads, and walls.
🌱 Soil
– Helps plants grow so we have food.
💦 Water
– We drink it, cook with it, and swim in it!
💨 Air
– We breathe it to stay alive!
How Do We Use Natural Resources?
Every day, we use nature’s gifts in different ways:
🏠 Wood from trees
– Used to build houses and furniture.
🎨 Plants
– Used to make colorful dyes for clothes, paint, and food.
🧣 Wool from animals
– Used to make warm clothes like sweaters.
🛣 Rocks
– Used to build roads, walls, and buildings.
Since these gifts from nature are very important,
