    Examining a text using inference to find as more meaning or look for ideas that aren't exactly told to the reader.

    The point or main idea that is being made in a text.

    Quotes or examples from the text, followed by an explanation.

    Want the readers to understand the writer's thought process of why or how the quote supports the topic.

    An in text citation, or giving credit to the original author.
