I’m big and gray, with a trunk so long, I roam the savannah, where I seem to belong. With tusks made of ivory, I trumpet with pride. In family herds, I always reside.

I stand tall on one leg, in wetlands I dwell, With feathers so white, I’m easy to tell. I deliver babies, or so the tales say, In nests high above, I rest at the end of the day.

I’m a powerful hunter, on seals I do feast, In a world full of cold, I’m a giant, at least. With a great sense of smell, I can track from afar, A symbol of the frozen, I’m a true northern star.
