BUFFET SERVICE

AMERICAN or PLATE SERVICE.
This is also known as table appointments, includes all items placed at the table that assist a person or a customer in dining.
TABLEWARE
It includes spoons, forks, knives, and spreaders that are made of sterling silver, stainless steel, plated silver, ceramic, wood, or plastic.
FLATWARE
It includes dining plates and serving platters that are available in glass, ceramic, or plastic.
DINNERWARE
It includes high quality and hence expensive lead glass, lime glass that is lighter and more brittle, plastic, and paper in variety.
BEVERAGEWARE or GLASSWARE
It includes tablecloths, plastic table covers, placemats, runners, and napkins of all kinds.
TABLE LINENS
These are serving dishes for food, like platters, serving bowls, tureens, creamers, sugar bowls, teapots, pitchers, coffeepots, and trays that are made of metal.
HOLLOWARE
These are figurines, potted plants and flowers, preferably fresh and natural, vegetables and fruits used for garnish and arrangements.
