You are washing your hands and somebody is impatiently yelling at you to "hurry up". What can you say?

"Stop yelling"

You are next in line at the cafeteria to get food. Somebody cut in front of you. Now they are in front of you. What can you say?

"Excuse me, but there is a line."

You are shopping and bought a water. The water costs $1. You gave the clerk $10. He did not give you any money back. What do you do?

"Excuse me. Where is my change?"

You are shopping and bought a donut. The donut costs $1. You gave the clerk $5. He only gave you $2 back. What do you say?

"Excuse me, you only gave me $2 back. I need a total of $4 please."

You are taking a class online and all of a sudden you can't hear your teacher. What can you do?

(start waving and pointing to your ear) (shake your head and point to your ear)

At the gym, somebody took your water bottle by accident. What can you say?

"Excuse me, I think you took my water bottle by accident."

Somebody in class keeps kicking your chair and you don't like it. What can you say?

"Excuse me, can you please stop kicking my chair? Thank you"

You are about to sit down to eat dinner at at restaurant but your chair is very dirty. It has old food on it. What do you say?

(Find a server), "Excuse me, is it okay if you wipe the chair for me? Thank you"

You ordered an iced Thai tea. The server gave you hot tea. What do you say?

"Excuse me. I ordered an Iced Thai tea."

Your mom is supposed to pick you up at 3:00 P.M. It is now 3:30 PM. What do you do?

(go find a phone) call mom. OR go to an office to have an adult call your mom.

Your dad gave you a very ugly t-shirt. What can you say?

"Thanks for the t-shirt. But this isn't my style. Can we exchange it?"

Your brother is taking too long in the bathroom and you really need him to drop you off for art class.

"please hurry, I am scared that I am going to be late for art class."

You are at the shoe store and the salesmen gave you the wrong shoe size. He gave you a size 5! What do you say?

"Excuse me, this is not my size. I am a size..."

Your mom's friend is cooking chicken but you are a vegetarian. What can you tell her?

"I am sorry. I am a vegetarian. Is there something else I can eat?"

You are trying to sleep, but your brother's music is too loud. What can you tell him?

"I am trying to sleep. Can you please turn your music down? Thank you!"

At the gym, somebody stole the machine you were using. You only have one more set. What can you say?

Somebody in front of you keeps farting. It stinks and it bothers you.

Somebody keeps teasing you in class by saying your first and last name in a sing song voice. You don't like it.

"Can you please stop it?" If you don't stop saying my name, I will tell the teacher.

You are feeling hungry, but your mom is on the phone.

(wait, get her attention by waving at her) whisper, "mom, I'm hungry".
