Not all liquids mix—
oil and water never mix!

hard to separate, like sugar in tea.

easy to separate, like cereal and milk.
A mixture is when you
mix things together.

Nope! Some liquids do not mix at all.

it’s gone! You can’t just scoop it out.
Once something dissolves,
you can't take it out again.

when you mix drink powder in water, it disappears and the water changes color and taste. That’s called dissolving.
