men - farmers. Grew the food and protected the village. Women took care of the children and wove cloth for clothing.

Ppl began specializing in making jewelry or weapons. Others made pottery or wove cloth. Traded products for goods they did not have.

3,000 B.C. to 1200 B.C. Mixed tin with copper to create bronze. Stronger then stone for weapons. Use of bronze tools and weapons rather than stone weapons.
