Runners are the only ones who are allowed to go out into the Maze. Runners run the Maze every day and draw the map at night to solve the maze..
What are the grievers?
A Griever is a creature that lives in the Maze and comes out after dark. Its purpose is to harass and even kill the Gladers who venture into the Maze.
