Literally 'Remember you must die' in Latin; symbolic still life artwork of mortality w. skull/hour glass/clock/extinguished candle/fruit/flowers.

Literally means 'light-dark' in Italian; the effect of light lights + dark darks (shadows) in drawing and painting.
