Tips:

  • No column headers.
  • Each line maps to a question.
  • If the delimiter is used in a question, the question should be surrounded by double quotes: "My, question","My, answer"
  • The first answer in the multiple choice question must be the correct answer.

the amount of space taken up by a 2-dimensional (flat) object/figure
Area
Definition: the bottom face of a figure from which the height is determined.
Base (of a 3-d figure)
Definition: the measurable size of something. Often refers to length, width and/or height.
Dimension
Definition: the side of a polygon or a line segment where two faces of a solid figure meet.
Edge
Definition: flat surface of a three-dimensional shape.
Face
Definition: the polygonal surfaces of a 3-dimensional figure, excluding the bases. (2 words)
Lateral Face
Definition: A flat shape which can be folded up into a three-dimensional solid.
Net
Definition: a solid three-dimensional shape with two identical, parallel polygon bases.
Prism
Defintion: A solid three-dimensional shape with a polygon base and triangular faces that taper to a point, also called the vertex or apex.
Pyramid
Definition: a figure that has two pairs of opposite equal parallel sides, and four right angles.
Rectangle
Definition: A 3-dimensional figure with 2 congruent, parallel bases that are rectangles; the remaining faces are rectangles.
Rectangular Prism
Definition: A 3-dimensional figure with exactly one rectangular base; the remaining faces are triangles.
Rectangular Pyramid
Definition: The metric unit used to measure the area of a given surface.
Square Unit
Definition: The total area of the faces and base(s) of a 3-dimensional figure.
Surface Area
Definition: A solid figure or an object or shape that has three dimensions—length, width, and height.
Three- Dimensional Fiigure
Definition: A polygon with three angles and three sides.
Triangle
Definition: A prism with two identical, triangular bases; the remaining faces are rectangles.
Triangular Prism
Definition: A 3-dimensional figure with exactly one triangular base; the remaining faces are triangles.
Triangular Pyramid
Definition: The adjacent sides of a polygon meet, or the edges of a solid figure meet/ come to a point.
