Your dad asks you to help wash the car. You ask him how much you'll get paid to do it.

You are in a bookstore and people are reading. It is quiet. Your phone rings. You answer it and begin a conversation.

Someone calls you to ask you if you would like to go to dinner. You ask who will pay.

You and your date are at the movies. She says she is thirsty. You tell her where the concession stand is and ask her to buy you a drink too.
