Low level cloud: These clouds are patchy gray or white clouds that often have a dark honeycomb-like appearance. Weather prediction: Fair weather for now, but a storm might be on its way.
Stratocumulus
Low level cloud: These clouds grow on hot days when warm, wet air rises very high into the sky. Weather prediction: Look out for rain, hail, and tornadoes!

Mid level cloud: These clouds are gray or blue-gray mid-level clouds composed of ice crystals and water droplets. Weather prediction: Be prepared for continuous rain or snow!
Altostratus
Mid level cloud: These clouds have several patchy white or gray layers, and seem to be made up of many small rows of fluffy ripples. Weather prediction: Fair
Altocumulus
High level cloud: These clouds are thin, sometimes patchy, sheet-like clouds. Weather prediction: Fair, but cold. However, if you live in a tropical region, these clouds could be a sign of an approaching hurricane!
Cirrocumulus
High level cloud: These clouds are thin, white clouds that cover the whole sky like a veil. Weather prediction: Rain or snow will arrive within 24 hours!
Cirrostratus
High level cloud: These clouds are delicate, feathery clouds that are made mostly of ice crystals. Weather prediction: A change is on its way!
Cirrus
This form of clouds are generally detached clouds, they look like white fluffy cotton balls.
Cumulo-form
This form of clouds are usually broad and fairly widespread, appearing like a blanket.
Strato-form
This form also designated a special rainy cloud category which combined the three forms.
Nimbo-form
This form of clouds are whitish and hair-like. There are the high, wispy clouds to first appear.
