He starts to agree with Hitler's ideas. He used to be in favor of justice and now he thinks Jews don't deserve the same rights as other people.

Because Max is Jewish and he doesn't want contact with him anymore.

Because censorhip became common in Germany and letters were being intercepted. The ones from the bank were usually not intercepted like the ones from his home.

Because it's translated wrong. It was supposed to be "addressee unknown", which is what Martin receives when he sends the last letters to Griselle and Martin.
