Cyberbullying is any bullying behaviour that takes place ‘virtually’ via many different devices and platforms.
What is an upstander?
Someone who recognises when something is wrong and acts to make it right.
What is a bystander?
Someone who knows about or sees bullying happening to someone else, and does nothing to prevent or stop it.
You see a person being ‘body-shamed’ on Facebook. You don't know this person and there are a lot of people joining in with hurtful comments. What do you do?
You could try to diffuse the situation by using positive comments, images or humour. Don’t join in or support it by forwarding the post! Report it!
Someone at school films a video of someone behaving inappropriately at a party. They send the video around school and you receive it. What would you do?

What are signs which indicate somebody may be being cyberbullied?
Being afraid or nervous to go to school. They tend to be withdrawn spending lots of time alone and lack confidence.
Should you save the messages if you are being cyberbullied? Yes or no and why?
Make sure you talk to a trusted adult about it, they will be able to help you! It is also very important save any messages received from a bully as evidence.
