Stay indoors if possible. If you get drenched in the rain, put on dry
clothes immediately.

Do not walk or drive through water. At home, turn off electricity
and move valuables upstairs.

If possible, leave the area. If not, stay indoors on the second floor.
If you're outside, stay away from falling debris and avoid water.

Grab onto something like a tree or rock to prevent being pushed
downhill by the snow.

If you're outside, get away from all buildings. If you're inside, hide
under a piece of furniture.
