At the beginning or end of class, when it is independent work time

What do you need to do in order to leave the classroom during class?

(1) ask the teacher first, (2) fill out ehall pass, (3) get your pass approved

What if you need to borrow supplies that are hanging on the closet door?

Put your ID in the pocket of the thing you borrowed and use that item. Return it when you are done and take your ID back.

What should you do when you get to class each day?

Look at the board for your get ready list and do the activities in order.

What should the binders look like when they are put away?

All binders should be on their class's shelves, spine should be facing out, binders should be standing up.

Where do you go if we go into shelter and you are in this classroom?

Go down the 5th grade stairs, take a left and then right and find Mr. Zacaria's classroom (right below us)

What do you need to do if you need to borrow a pencil?

(1) Ask the teacher (2) trade your ID for a pencil by putting it on the clip and taking the pencil (3) Return the pencil and take your ID

Can you have gum in this classroom?

Yes, as long as the teacher doesn't see it, hear it, or find it.

TRUE OR FALSE: When you come into this classroom and there are supplies on the desk, you should not touch them.

True - Anything already on the desks should not be touched by students until they are told the touch things.

What should you do if you are absent from class?

tell your teacher ahead of time if you know OR email your teacher ahead of time or on that day if possible OR ask your teacher when you return

Can you have snacks/other foods in this classroom?

Only if it is 8th period (snack period) or some kind of reward day. Snacks must always be individual sized
