How do you treat a small cut?

Clean it and put a plaster over it.

Go to the hospital and get treatment. Stitches, staples or medical glue could be used by the doctor.

What treatment might you be given for a sore throat?

you might be given antibiotics. For a viral infection (e.g. a cold, flu), there is often no treatment, except for throat sweets and painkillers.

An icepack, followed by a tight bandage and putting your foot up.

Usually an X-ray followed by a plaster cast. If the break is serious, possibly surgery under anaesthetic to insert metal plates or rods.
