This system works as the transportation highway for the body. It consists of the heart, blood, and blood vessels. It transports substances such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nutrients in the body.

Protects and supports body organs and provides a framework the muscles use to support movement. New blood cells are created in the bone marrow.

Regulates all the body functions with the use of nerves. The brain sends impulses down the spinal column and into nerves that tell all body parts what to do.

Controls the body processes with the use of hormones. Insulin and glucagon are examples of hormones that control glucose blood levels
